Berry Lime Granita
When summer berries are ripe and juicy, this bright and refreshing frozen dessert is a real sweet treat. Leftovers can be frozen and broken up again when you are ready to eat.
4 cups raspberries or blackberries
¾ cup caster sugar
Zest of 2 limes
¾ cup water
Combine all ingredients in food processor, process until smooth. Pour ingredients into a 9 × 13" baking dish. Place in the freezer for 3 hours. Every 30 minutes, use a fork to break up and scrape clumps of ice that begin to form.
