Boozy Blackberry Granita
This is a tart and refreshing summertime cocktail.
1 pint blackberries
- Juice of 4 lemons
- Zest of 2 lemons
- 3 tablespoons caster sugar + more to taste 3½ cups water
- 8–16 ounces vodka
Lemon slices dipped in sugar
Combine all ingredients except for vodka in a food processor, process until smooth. Pour ingredients into a 9" × 13" baking dish. Place in the freezer for 3 hours. Every 30 minutes, use a fork to break up and scrape clumps of ice that begin to form.
Scoop granita into glass and pour 1–2 ounces of vodka over the top and stir. Garnish with a sugared lemon slice and a blackberry.
