Classic Mint Julep
As the Kentucky Derby approaches, many of us look forward to indulging in the classic Mint Julep cocktail. This refreshing and flavorful cocktail is easy to make and won't leave you feeling bloated or uncomfortable.
1.5 oz Bourbon
- 1 tsp turbinado sugar
- 4 mint leaves
- Sprig of mint, for garnish
Muddle mint leaves with turbinado sugar. Add ice to the three quarter mark and add bourbon. Stir. Garnish with a mint sprig and enjoy.
- (If using a silver julep cup, set aside to rest while the julep cup freezes on the outside).
